The next on-campus buyback will be May 9th-May 22nd, 2022 during posted store hours. In the meantime, you can go through the buyback process through the St. Kate’s Virtual Bookstore portal. See details below.

Why is your bookstore the better option when selling your books than selling online?
Location-easy to stop in and do buyback!
Books stay on your campus for future students
Up to 50% of the shelf price paid for books in good condition
No packing or shipping
Cash paid to you on the spot

How much money can I expect to get for my books?
If the textbook is being used again and the bookstore still needs copies, you can get up to HALF the price of the new book. If the bookstore already has enough copies or the book is not being used the next semester, there may be a wholesale value offered to you.

Do you pay cash or credit?
We pay cash for books we buy back.

What if my book is not going to be used again or the bookstore already has enough copies?
We partner with a national book wholesaler who purchases books for schools all over the country. If your book is not being used on our campus, there is a chance that it may be used elsewhere and have a value.

Are there any books you won't buy back?
There are certain types of books that we do not buy back: these include access codes, workbooks or lab books with writing in them, and other certain books that can not be resold. If the book is an old edition or has a new edition pending, it may not have a value. If books have excessive highlighting, writing, or any type of damage, we will not accept them back. Therefore always keep your books in good condition with limited highlighting and notes to get the best offer. Pay attention when you purchase a Used copy as it may not be in a condition worthy of being sold back.

What happens if my book doesn't have a value?
Your book is yours, so it is your decision what to do with it. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we currently are not accepting donations.
If you can't make it to the store to sell your books, try doing it online through our partnership with BNC Services. Click here!
